Privacy and sharing

The mission picker
The picker runs in your browser. It does not ask for a child's name, birth date, location or route. It has no account or stored child profile. Sharing a mission link includes only broad activity filters and the selected mission identifiers.
Downloads and visits
PDF files and activity tools are served by our website hosting provider, which may process technical information such as request logs and IP addresses to operate the site. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand website visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, successful Mission Pack form submissions, and clicks on download and Amazon links. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes technical data such as browser and device information and approximate location. We do not load Google Analytics or Metricool until you select “Allow analytics.” We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in our website tag. We do not send signup email addresses or mission-picker answers to our analytics events. A download-page visit or Amazon click does not prove a signup or purchase.
With the same permission, Metricool records page visits so we can review website traffic alongside social performance. Its tracker sends the viewed URL, referring page where available, and browser viewport dimensions; the service also receives technical request data such as your IP address and reports approximate country. The Metricool tracker does not use cookies. It does not receive our signup form fields, and we skip Metricool on visits with unexpected query parameters or a query-bearing referrer to avoid sending potentially private URL data. Website traffic does not establish an Amazon purchase. See Metricool’s privacy notice.
Your analytics preference is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. If you previously accepted Google Analytics before Metricool was added, we ask for a fresh choice before loading either service; an earlier refusal remains respected. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days, subject to renewal on use. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your choice; declining stops this website’s analytics collection and clears its Google Analytics cookies. This choice controls website analytics, separately from the MailerLite signup and email features described below. See Google’s privacy notice for its handling of data.
Email signup and MailerLite
If you sign up for the Mission Pack and Brightamble Press updates, your email address and signup choices are processed through MailerLite. We use these details to provide the pack, send activity ideas and occasional book updates, and manage your subscription. Please confirm your email address using the confirmation message before receiving the welcome sequence.
MailerLite may process technical information about form use and email delivery, including IP addresses, timestamps, and email opens or link clicks. Open tracking is enabled in our email settings. Embedded forms may use cookies or similar technologies; the form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated submissions. These providers process information under their own privacy notices: MailerLite and Google.
You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. For questions about your subscription or requests concerning your information, email hello@brightamblepress.com. We use subscription information while needed to provide the requested emails and manage preferences, including records needed to honor an unsubscribe request.
For parents and caregivers
Our signup is intended for adults. We do not ask for a child's name, birth date, location, or travel route. Please do not enter or send a child's personal information.
External links
Our Amazon book links include campaign tags so Amazon can report visits and qualifying purchases attributed to this website. The tags identify our website campaign, not your email address. Amazon processes activity under its own privacy practices.
Amazon and other external services have their own privacy practices. Visiting them is separate from signing up for Brightamble Press emails.
Sharing the printable
